Tuesday finally arrived and the Senators started discussing.

Something very unusual happened… Some people say it was treason and some people say it was the right thing to do.

The Senators’ discussion was very long, tiring, and decisions were tied. At dawn, votes were 36 for the positive against 36 for the negative.

When there is a tie, it is the president of the Chamber’s duty to decide. The president of the Chamber of Senators is the Vicepresident of the Nation (currently Julio Cobos).

At 4.25 AM on Wednesday, Julio César Cleto Cobos, Cristina Kirchner’s vicepresident had to untie the decision of the Senators. I think it was very difficult for him, and he himself said it was one of the hardest times of his life.

He voted against the President’s resolution.
