On June 2nd, the 6th form students had a vernissage. They presented their drawings based on an article that Miss Mariana, their teacher, had read to them.

There wasn’t education, people drank a lot and there was a lot of violence on the streets…

The kids made some drawings to represent what Mariana told them about that place. She told them about a poor city, with no happiness.

Some kids used dark colours for their drawings, like black or brown, because they thought that they were the most suitable colours to express sadness and depression. There was a very sad atmosphere. They drew very violent scenes with people killing each other. Other artists drew drunk people because they said that they drank to forget all their problems.

In short, the people of that city were very poor and sad.
