A review by Dani
Seventh form was in charge of the first play of the year, THE WIZ, based on the legendary Wizard of Oz
This play, interpreted by 7th form students, was very nice.
Although they had very good pronounciation, they sometimes talked a little bit quickly.
The play had very nice songs and choreographies and the actors really made an effort not to feel nervous in the first play of the year.
The use of cloths as scenery for Dorothy’s dream was a wonderful idea. The scenery in general was excellent, it was very tidy and well painted. Our art expert, Toti, said it was just perfect. Lighting was also very good, and all the actors had beautiful costumes.
Even though a track was missing in the CD, the actors improvised their songs a cappella. It was very funny and we are proud of how brave they were. It takes a lot of courage to do that.
Despite the technical problems, the play was fun and we had a very good time.
